Your game and your account
How do I keep my game if I change phones?
Sign in with Apple or Google in Settings before you switch. On the new phone, sign in with the same account and your empire comes back. A game that was never signed in lives only on the phone it was played on.
I reinstalled and my game is gone
If you had signed in, open Settings and sign in again with the same Apple or Google account. If you had not, the game was tied to that installation and cannot be recovered.
How do I change my nickname?
Settings, Account. Nicknames are 3 to 20 characters and must follow the Terms of Use.
How do I delete my account?
In the game: Settings, Delete account. It removes your game, your profile and nickname, your messages and your sign-in from our servers, and cannot be undone. If you cannot open the game, email us and we will do it for you. The Privacy Policy lists everything it removes.
What is the difference between "Start again" and "Delete account"?
Start again wipes your empire and plays the story from the beginning, on the same account. Delete account removes the account itself.
Playing
What does "walk away" do?
It sells your empire for connections, a lasting bonus that makes every future empire earn faster. Your businesses and money reset; your story, level and connections stay. The game offers it when the connections would be worth having.
Why did the police take my money?
Heat. Every fast dollar draws attention, and when the heat meter fills the precinct raids you. Keep it down with the Harbour Captain, quieter choices in the story, and by not collecting everything at once.
My crew leader turned on me
Leaders have their own goals. Loyalty falls when wages go unpaid, when rivals bribe them, and when you treat them badly, and their mood shows it before they act. Talk to them from the Crew page.
Other players
Someone is harassing me
Open the conversation and use Block to stop their messages, or Report to send a message to us for review. For anything that involves real life, email us as well.
I was attacked while I was away
That is part of the game. Your crew defends while you are gone, and the Crew page lists recent attacks so you can hit back when you are ready.
Purchases
My purchase has not arrived
Close and reopen the game; purchases are confirmed by the App Store and usually arrive within seconds. If it still has not, email us with the date of the purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription or get a refund?
Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Cancel in iPhone Settings, your Apple Account, Subscriptions. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
